An accomplished obstetrician and gynaecologist, healthcare entrepreneur and experienced director and board chairman, Richardson Ajayi has spent the last 22 years spearheading a healthcare revolution in Nigeria.
Educated in the UK, Dr. Ajayi studied at Kings College, London, where he received his MBBS in 1988, graduating with distinction. In addition to his medical training, he is a gynaecologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the UK. he has an alumni status at Lagos Business School, London Business School, Harvard Business School and he is a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors in the UK.
Having dramatically expanded access to enhanced health services in Nigeria, Dr. Ajayi was appointed as the Chairperson of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). He also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of trustees of Cycology Riding Club with a focus on establishing cycling as a lifestyle in Nigeria. He is also Chairman of the Board, KAAF Medical Centre, Chairman of Medicentre, a primary healthcare brand. He served as president of the Nigerian Rugby Football Federation with a focus on gettng Rugby into Nigerian schools.
Yomi’s wealth of experience spans over three decades working within the FMCG / Pharmaceutical industry in different organizations. She is an exceptional team leader, administrator and member of the board credited with expertise in corporate strategy, administration, marketing, sales, project/product management and responsibilities as a government liaison. She became the first female board director of PZ Cussons Plc and has held the positions of Marketing Director, Sales Director and Corporate Services & Admin Director during her career. Dr Toyin Ajayi is a Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the United Kingdom, where she was trained. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (U.K) and obtained her MRCOG (UK) in 2014.
She obtained her medical degree (MBBS) at Imperial College School of Medicine, London, U.K, in 1999 and went on to complete her Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in numerous worldrenowned teaching hospitals, mainly in London and the Oxford region of the U.K. She is an alumnus of the Management Acceleration Program (MAP6) of the Lagos Business School. She is a member of European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Association of Fertility and Reproductive Health, Nigeria (AFRH). She has attended and presented at numerous professional conferences in the U.K and abroad. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and about transforming healthcare in Nigeria.
