Dr. Pamela Ajayi is a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to transforming healthcare systems through public-private partnerships, driving value-creation for local and multinational businesses, and establishing financially sustainable and thriving organizations by facilitating access to finance opportunities. With an impeccable record of excellence in Management and purpose-oriented leadership, she is a passionate advocate for quality healthcare and her vast expertise has influenced policies formation, health equity, and the improvement of healthcare systems. With a distinguished career spanning decades, Dr. Ajayi currently serves as the President of the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (HFN) while concurrently serving as Chairman of The Bridge Fertility Clinic. A visionary trailblazer, Dr. Ajayi’s legacy is marked by her pivotal role as the founder of PathCare Laboratories,the first ISO 15189 accredited laboratory in West Africa; which has evolved into Synlab, a beacon of excellence in diagnostic services. Her visionary pursuits extend further as the driving force behind Nigeria’s largest healthcare radio program, “Doctors on Air;” since 2009, where she leverages insightful dialogues with esteemed medical professionals to empower people with vital healthcare information while addressing prevalent health challenges in the nation. With a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by women in the healthcare industry, Dr. Ajayi has spearheaded the establishment of the HFN Women’s Forum, a transformative platform dedicated to empowering and advancing women in healthcare. Through this initiative, she provides mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional development resources tailored to the needs of women practitioners. Dr. Ajayi’s unwavering commitment to gender equity and inclusivity underscores her role as a trailblazer in promoting women’s empowerment within Nigeria’s healthcare sector. In addition to her impactful endeavors in healthcare, Dr. Ajayi is a founding member and collaborator of The Dawn Project (THE SEEK TRUST), a commendable initiative advocating environmental conservation and sustainability. She also serves on multiple boards. Dr. Pamela is an alumna of the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Lagos and a British Chevening Scholar. Her commitment to continuous learning is underscored by her achievements as an alumna of both The Harvard Business School and The Lagos Business School. Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Ajayi has exhibited unwavering dedication to tackling fundamental healthcare challenges in Nigeria and diaspora which further solidifies her reputation as a respected luminary in the healthcare domain.
An accomplished obstetrician and gynaecologist, healthcare entrepreneur and experienced director and board chairman, Richardson Ajayi has spent the last 22 years spearheading a healthcare revolution in Nigeria.
Educated in the UK, Dr. Ajayi studied at Kings College, London, where he received his MBBS in 1988, graduating with distinction. In addition to his medical training, he is a gynaecologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the UK. he has an alumni status at Lagos Business School, London Business School, Harvard Business School and he is a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors in the UK.
Having dramatically expanded access to enhanced health services in Nigeria, Dr. Ajayi was appointed as the Chairperson of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). He also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of trustees of Cycology Riding Club with a focus on establishing cycling as a lifestyle in Nigeria. He is also Chairman of the Board, KAAF Medical Centre, Chairman of Medicentre, a primary healthcare brand. He served as president of the Nigerian Rugby Football Federation with a focus on gettng Rugby into Nigerian schools.
Yomi’s wealth of experience spans over three decades working within the FMCG / Pharmaceutical industry in different organizations. She is an exceptional team leader, administrator and member of the board credited with expertise in corporate strategy, administration, marketing, sales, project/product management and responsibilities as a government liaison. She became the first female board director of PZ Cussons Plc and has held the positions of Marketing Director, Sales Director and Corporate Services & Admin Director during her career. She is passionate about charitable works, doing good and giving back; having managed the PZ Cussons Foundation as a member and its Executive Secretary for over ten years. She is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan with a BSc degree in Pharmacology and Diploma in Strategic Sales from the University of Portsmouth, UK and has served on the Council and Board of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and Advertising Association of Nigeria (ADVAN). She is currently a member of the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) board in charge of Community Interest and is the US Coordinator on the board of Predictable Future, an NGO focused on the girl child.
Gloria Onafeko, FCA is a commercially minded business growth strategist who works with business leaders to simplify and modernise their path to growth. She has extensive cross-industry experience in business creation, transformation, and acquisitions, working with different ownership structures at Board and C-Level. She has decades of operational experience in accounting and strategic financial management; corporate governance and change management.
As founder of Numero Associates, a boutique consulting firm; her work is focused on effective strategy execution and demystifying numbers to drive value creation. She was Executive Finance Director, Gaslink Nigeria (Axella); Chief Finance Officer, Ocean and Oil Services Ltd, where she was also Treasurer and Finance Controller. Early career roles include Strategy Consultant at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Auditor at Akintola Williams and Co. (Deloitte). Gloria is a Fellow of ICAN and holds a BSc from the University of Jos, Nigeria.
Sunny Ekhalume serves as the Managing Director of Bridge Clinic, bringing a wealth of expertise garnered over 25 years in strategic leadership and management. His vast experience spans a spectrum of industries, including FMCG, telecommunications, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. He is proficient in the management of sales, marketing, human and material resources.
With an impressive career trajectory, Sunny Ekhalume has worked at various capacities with esteemed organizations such as Pfizer, Neimeth, Promasidor, Airtel, Visafone, and MTN.
He has an MBA in Marketing Management and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. He also bagged a certificate in Leadership and Management in Healthcare from the University of Washington.
He is volunteer at the policy commission of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), and an alumnus of the FATE (Fola Adeola Training for Entrepreneurs) Foundation.
Dr Toyin Ajayi is a Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the United Kingdom, where she was trained. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (U.K) and obtained her MRCOG (UK) in 2014.
She obtained her medical degree (MBBS) at Imperial College School of Medicine, London, U.K, in 1999 and went on to complete her Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in numerous worldrenowned teaching hospitals, mainly in London and the Oxford region of the U.K. She is an alumnus of the Management Acceleration Program (MAP6) of the Lagos Business School. She is a member of European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Association of Fertility and Reproductive Health, Nigeria (AFRH). She has attended and presented at numerous professional conferences in the U.K and abroad. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and about transforming healthcare in Nigeria.
